               Avivamento: Solução Para a Igreja de Hoje

Sendo literalmente sacudidas pelo Espírito de Deus. A mensagem da renovação espiritual está entrando nos palácios, nas casas comerciais, nas empresas públicas e privadas, nos contatos diários, nas cabinas telefônicas, em todas as áreas.

Que está acontecendo, então?

A vinda de Jesus se aproxima. E a hora final da Igreja. Já não nos resta muito tempo. – ou nos dispomos a entrar numa fase intensa de agressiva evangelização, ou teremos perdido definitivamente a oportunidade derradeira que nos é outorgada pelo Senhor da Seara. – Deus tem estabelecido que Sua Igreja influenciará de maneira espantosa o mundo contemporâneo, mas somente o fará se estiver cheia do Espírito Santo. 

Avivamento é a palavra que expressa a operação plena do Espírito na Igreja, quando então as correntes do poder inundam as vidas crentes, comovem as almas incrédulas, reavivam corações amortecidos, dominam espíritos rebeldes e ungem crentes sensíveis.

Que relação existe entre o Avivamento e o desafio da Evangelização Mundial? Que resultados podem surgir de um Avivamento?

Não são poucos os frutos de um avivamento. Tudo quando Deus faz é sempre importante. Onde quer que um Avivamento irrompa, os frutos abundantes são sempre notados. Foi assim na época de Neemias, no tempo do rei Josias, nos dias da Igreja Primitiva, no século XIX e também nos nossos dias.

1. Um avivamento torna os crentes mais frutíferos

Paulo o Apóstolo, recebeu a revelação do Espírito Santo de que há dois tipos básicos de crentes na Igreja: Crentes carnais e crentes espirituais. Quanto menos Avivamento houver, maior campo à vida carnal haverá.

Os crentes carnais impedem o prosseguimento da Obra de Deus, mas o Avivamento impede a expansão da carnalidade. Um Avivamento desperta nos corações o ardor evangelístico, a vontade de jejuar, o espírito de intercessão e súplica, a comunhão mais intensa, a vida mais consagrada. 

Deus nos quer espirituais. Temos que abrir o coração aos grandes mistérios da vida espiritual. Somente homens espirituais podem atear fogo de Deus no mundo. Somente consciências abrasadas podem abrasar outras vidas. A hora é chegada em que Deus nos quer tornar mais espirituais para revolucionarmos o mundo com a fervente Palavra da Cruz. O momento é precisamente este, quando seremos, como ministros de Deus, autênticas labaredas de fogo espiritual transformando a sociedade desmoralizada e perdida.

Nossas conversas devem ser mais espirituais. Quando o Avivamento emerge, nossas palestras mudam. Deixamos de falar mal dos nossos irmãos, para lhe falarmos das coisas de Deus. Cada vez que Deus envia um avivamento à Igreja, a língua do povo experimenta radical transformação. As conversas inúteis e estéreis dão lugar a propósitos sadios e diálogos construtivos. Homens habituados à murmuração e à maledicência começam a falar de cultos e de ofertas missionárias. Pessoas enfermas começam a ouvir palavras de ajuda e conforto espiritual.

Nossos pensamentos também se espiritualizam. Quando o Avivamento chega, Deus opera transformações radicais em nossa mente. A mesquinhez da nossa incredulidade cede lugar à fé pujante e vencedora. Já não somos mais aqueles que pensam exclusivamente na derrota ou no bem pessoal, mas começamos a pensar nas coisas que são de cima”. Cl 3.1.

Nossas contribuições também são atingidas. Antes do Avivamento, as ofertas são pobres, sem calor, destituídas de qualquer sentido espiritual. Na hora do Avivamento, Deus nos visita por inteiro. Até os nossos bens experimentam a mudança. Temos visto inúmeras vezes, em épocas de Avivamento, a maneira espontânea com que o povo contribui. Algumas são seu dinheiro, seus bens, tudo que possuem, para enviar missionários, para construir templos, para ajudar os obreiros, para atender campanhas, etc.

A Bíblia começa e finda em frutos (Gn 1 e Ap 22). À medida que Deus ia criando o mundo, ia ordenando que as coisas vivas que estavam sendo feitas, começassem a frutificar. No plano espiritual, a exigência de frutos é severa. Se alguém está em Cristo, tem que dar frutos. “Não me escolhestes vós a mim, mas eu vos escolhi a vós, e vos nomeei, para que vades, e deis frutos, e o vosso fruto permaneça; a fim de que tudo quando em meu nome pedirdes ao Pai El vo-lo conceda” Jo 15:16.

Uma triste realidade que de constata em muitas igrejas é esta: a maioria dos crentes não produz fruto qualquer. Uns acham que isto é tarefa dos obreiros, outros atribuem a um grupo privilegiado o dever de frutificar, etc. A Bíblia nos apresenta outra mensagem. Leia, por favor, todo o capítulo 15 do Evangelho de João. Repetimos a verdade: Quem está em Cristo, precisa dar frutos. 

Somente um avivamento espiritual nos levará a produzir frutos. Muitas pessoas estão orando para que Deus lhes dê frutos. Deus nunca responderá essa oração. Frutos não são recebidos. Frutos são produzidos. Você mesmo terá que unir-se a Cristo e começar a receber vitalidade espiritual e em seguida produzir frutos. Você tem que receber o Espírito de Vida e começar a frutificar. E o derramamento do Espírito de Vida não é outra coisa senão o Avivamento espiritual. “enchei-vos do Espírito, pois.” (Ef 5.18).

Temos que produzir frutos de louvor, frutos de justiça, e sobretudo temos que produzir o fruto do Espírito (Gl 5). Não nos bastem os dons. Tenhamos fruto também. Campainhas no tabernáculo, mas também romãs.  Filipe Atos 8

 

3. Um avivamento torna os crentes mais poderosos

O século XX tem sido um século de poder. Poder atômico, poder negro, poder econômico, poder jovem, poder militar. Qual é o maior poder no entanto? Sem dúvida alguma, o maior poder de que se tem conhecimento é o poder espiritual. O poder de Deus. Jesus disse aos discípulos: “Recebereis poder, ao descer sobre vós o Espírito Santo...” (O povo + poderoso).

As igrejas que têm lutado contra a obra pentecostal têm marcado passo ridiculamente. Muitas delas possuem bons templos, excelentes colégios e razoável quantidade de pessoas ilustres ocupando cargos de importância na vida secular. Mas... e o poder? O poder que expulsa demônios? O poder que cura enfermos? O poder que ressuscita mortos? O poder que transforma os viciados? O poder que faz maravilhas?

Um avivamento canaliza o poder para as nossas vidas. Quando há avivamento, o Pedro que negou a Jesus perante uma criada junto a fogueira passa a ordenar a um paralítico que se levante, em nome de Jesus. Resultado do avivamento.

Quando há Avivamento, um homem só evangeliza uma cidade inteira. Felipe foi a Samaria como resultado de um Avivamento e ali surgiu um outro despertamento. Diz a Bíblia que a cidade foi ouvir Felipe. E muitos milagres aconteceram. O poder espiritual transformou Finney num instrumento de bênçãos. O poder de Deus levou Moody a ganhar cerca de quinhentas mil almas para Cristo. O poder de Deus trouxe Vingren e Berg ao Brasil e, como resultado, milhões de criaturas têm ouvido o Evangelho em nossa Pátria. 

Você já tem esse poder? Você já recebeu o seu Pentecoste? Você está lutando sozinho? Você se considera suficiente para fazer a obra de Deus? Busque um avivamento para a sua vida e seja um crente poderoso. Poderoso na oração, poderoso na fé, poderoso em obras diante dos homens, vivendo sempre na presença de Deus.

Cesse de empregar os esforços humanos, desponte para uma realidade inteiramente nova. Deixe Deus dominar a sua mente e não pretenda dirigir a Deus. Você se considera capaz de organizar um programa, um ritual para Deus? Entregue seus cuidados, sua vida inteira ao Senhor, recebe um Avivamento e seja um homem poderoso. Nesse e com esse poder você transformará o mundo.

4. Um avivamento dá um novo sentido a Palavra de Deus.  

Durante muitos anos os evangélicos do Brasil têm sido chamados popularmente de “bíblias”. Existe uma identificação muito íntima entre os crentes e a Bíblia. Porém, há poucos que conhecem completamente, que a amam estranhavelmente, que a lêem diariamente. Para muitos, ela é um livro maravilhoso, mas vive maravilhosamente fechado.

Onde e quando há despertamento, a Bíblia passa para o centro da vida. O despertamento da época do rei Josias coincide com o reaparecimento do livro da lei que se perdera. O despertamento do tempo de Esdras coincide com a leitura pública da lei, a milhares de judeus ávidos da renovação espiritual. O despertamento em Samaria existiu em função da pregação inspirada de Felipe, que falava a Palavra de Deus.

Satanás tem empreendido uma luta titânica contra a palavra de Deus. Às veses falsificando-a. Negando-a, noutros casos. Procurando escondê-la. De mil maneiras tem o inimigo procurado tornar ausente do mundo a influência preciosíssima da Palavra de Deus.

Um Avivamento projeta a Palavra de Deus. É mais literatura que se edita, mais folhetos que se distribui, mais Bíblias que se vende e se oferece, mais pregações escriturísticas, mais cultos devocionais e domésticos, mais divulgação do Livro Vivo.

Sabemos que muitos milhares de crentes sinceros estão orando a Deus em todo o mundo pela intensificação do Avivamento. Existem grupos de oração em todos os lugares, rogando ao Pai pela vida mais profunda entre o povo de Deus.

CONCLUSÃO

5. Participe do avivamento 

Entre nesta nova esfera de atividades da Igreja do Senhor. Obtenha resultados positivos e salutares do avivamento em sua própria vida. Não seja um expectador. Participe. Integre-se ao grupo de mulheres e de homens cheios do Espírito que estão sendo o estopim da revolução espiritual que mudará a face do mundo, às vésperas da vida triunfante do Senhor Jesus.

Verdadeiramente, um dos mais expressivos sinais do iminente regresso de Jesus Cristo à Terra diz respeito à onda de apostasia que varrerá os círculos eclesiástico de todo o mundo e induzirá milhões a negarem a fé que abraçaram, voltando-se, de novo, à velha vida distanciada de Deus.

Mas não queremos falar deste sinal. Desejamos reportar-nos a um sinal maior, mas importante, de maior interesse: refererir-nos-emos ao Avivamento Espiritual, à chuva serôdia que cairá sobre a Igreja fiel, o cumprimento final das profecias de Joel, de Isaías e também do livro de Provérbios.

Avivamento é uma intervenção sobrenatural de Deus na vida da Igreja, uma ação dinamizadora em meio às atividades rotineiras dos filhos de Deus. Quando o Avivamento chega, a Evangelização toma um impulso, os milagres surgem, o amor se renova, o perdão é oferecido, a comunhão é intensificada, a glória de Deus é sentida.

Quando não há Avivamento, a rotina envolve os programas de cultos e um sono letárgico abraça o povo. Cessam as decisões, não há poder, cultos se tornam frios, o povo fica apático, nada de atraente se verifica. O significado do Avivamento consiste no fato de ele envolver a Igreja num mando de virtude do Espírito e de fazê-la retornar aos padrões apostólicos.

A ausência do Avivamento importa em crises constantes. A presença do avivamento debela as intrigas, irrompe em cada vida como a presença nova do Senhor no coração de cada ovelha. O propósito do Avivamento é impulsionar a Igreja a realizar com presteza a Grande Comissão, esquecida muitas vezes, em troca de realizações menos constantes com a missão precípua da Noiva de Cristo.

“Aviva, ó Senhor, a tua obra, no meio dos anos; no meio dos anos a notifica.”Somente assim teremos tomado a chave que nos fará atender o desafio da Evangelização Mundial, e superar as crises internas.

                                                  Revival: Solution For Today's Church

 

Literally being shaken by God's Spirit. The message of spiritual renewal is entering the palaces, in shops, in public and private companies, in daily contact, in telephone booths in all areas.

What is happening then?

The coming of Jesus is near. And the final hour of the Church. Have not much time left. - Or we prepare to enter a phase of intense aggressive evangelization, or have definitely lost the last opportunity is granted to us by the Lord of the Harvest. - God has established His Church to influence the amazing way the modern world, but only do so if full of the Holy Spirit.

 Revival is the word that expresses the full operation of the Spirit in the Church, when the currents of the power then flood the lives believers comovem unbelieving souls, hearts revive dulled, rebellious spirits dominate and anoint believers sensitive.  

What is the relationship between the Awakening and the challenge of World Evangelization? What results can arise from a Revival? 
There are few fruits of a revival. It is when God is always important. Wherever a revival break out, the abundant fruits are always noticed. Thus at the time of Nehemiah, the time of King Josiah, in the days of the early Church in the nineteenth century and also today. 


1. A revival makes believers more fruitful

Paul the Apostle, received the revelation of the Holy Spirit that there are two basic types of believers in the Church: Christians carnal and spiritual believers. The less there is revival, the largest field carnal life there.

Carnal believers prevent the continuation of the Work of God, but the revival prevents the expansion of carnality. A Revival awakens in the hearts of the evangelistic fervor, the desire to fast, the spirit of intercession and supplication communion more intense, the consecrated life.

God wants us to be spiritual. We must open our hearts to the great mysteries of spiritual life. Only men can spiritual fire of God in the world. Only consciousness can scorch scorched other lives. The time has come when God wants us to become more spiritual to revolutionize the world with boiling Word of the Cross. The moment this is precisely when we, as ministers of God, authentic spiritual flame of fire transforming society demoralized and lost.
Our conversations must be more spiritual. When the revival emerge, change our lectures. We no longer speak ill of our brethren, you speak of things of God. Each time God sends a revival to the Church, the language of the people experiencing radical transformation. The talks useless and sterile purposes give rise to healthy and constructive dialogues. Men accustomed to gossip and slander begin to speak of worship and mission offerings. Sick people begin to hear words of help and spiritual comfort.

 Our thoughts are also spiritualized. When revival comes, God works radical changes in our mind. The pettiness of our incredulity gives way to faith vibrant and successful. We are no longer those who think only in defeat or personal property, but we started thinking about things that are above. "Cl 3.1.

Our contributions are also affected. Before the revival, the offerings are poor, without warmth, devoid of any spiritual sense. At the time of revival, God visits us in full. Until our goods experience change. We have seen countless times, in times of revival, spontaneous way that helps the people. Some are your money, your assets, everything they own, to send missionaries to build churches, to help the workers to attend campaigns, etc..

The Bible begins and ends in fruit (Genesis 1 and Revelation 22). As God was creating the world, was ordering the living things that were being made, started to bear fruit. On the spiritual plane, the demand for fruits is severe. If anyone is in Christ, has to bear fruit. "Do not you have chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain: in order that everything in my name when you ask the Father El give it you" John 15:16.
A sad reality that the notes in many churches is this: most believers do not produce any fruit. Some think that this is the task of the workers, others attribute to a privileged group the duty to bear fruit, etc.. The Bible gives us another message. Please read the whole chapter 15 of John's Gospel repeated the truth, anyone who is in Christ, must bear fruit.

 

Only a spiritual revival will lead us to bear fruit. Many people are praying that God give them fruit. God will never answer that prayer. Fruits are not received. Fruits are produced. You will have to unite with Christ and begin to receive spiritual vitality and then bear fruit. You have to receive the Spirit of life and begin to bear fruit. And the outpouring of the Spirit of Life is nothing but the spiritual revival. "Filled with the Spirit, because." (Eph 5:18).

We must bring forth fruits of praise, the fruit of justice, and above all we have to bear the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5). Not suffice in the gifts. Let the fruit too. Bells in the tabernacle, but pomegranates. Philip Acts 8

2. A revival makes believers more powerful

The twentieth century has been a century of power. Atomic power, black power, economic power, youth power, military power. What is the greatest power yet? Undoubtedly, the greatest power that is known is the spiritual power. The power of God. Jesus told his disciples: "Ye shall receive power, to come upon you the Holy Spirit ..." (The mighty people).
The churches that have fought against the project have marked Pentecostal ridiculously step. Many of them have good churches, excellent schools and reasonable amount of illustrious persons occupying positions of importance in secular life. But ... and power? The power that drives out demons? The power that heals the sick? The power that raises the dead? The power to change the addicts? The power that works wonders?
A revival taps the power of our lives. When there is a revival, the Peter who denied Jesus before the fire with a maid comes to ordering a paralytic who gets up in the name of Jesus. Results of the revival.
When there is revival, one man only evangelize an entire city. Philip went to Samaria as a result of a revival and there arose another awakening. The Bible says that the city went to hear Philip. And many miracles happened. The spiritual power Finney became an instrument of blessing. The power of God led Moody to gain about five hundred thousand souls to Christ. The power of God and Berg Vingren brought to Brazil and as a result, millions of creatures have heard the Gospel in our country.

You already have that power? Have you received your Pentecost? You're fighting alone? Do you consider yourself enough to do God's work? Find a revival in your life and be a strong believer. Powerful prayer, powerful faith, mighty in deeds before men, living always in the presence of God. 

Cease to employ human efforts to blunt an entirely new reality. Let God control your mind and do not intend to address God. Do you consider yourself capable of organizing a program, a ritual for God? Deliver your care, your whole life to the Lord, receives a revival and is a powerful man. In this power and you will transform the world. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power hallelujah. (II Timothy 1:7).

 3. A revival gives new meaning to the word of God.

For many years Brazil's evangelicals have been popularly called "bibles". There is a very close identification between the believers and the Bible. However, there are quite a few who know, who love estranhavelmente, who read daily. For many it is a wonderful book, but lives wonderfully close.
Where and when awakening, the Bible moves to the center of life. The awakening of the time of King Josiah coincided with the reappearance of the book of the law that was lost. The awakening time of Ezra coincides with the public reading of the law, thousands of avid Jewish spiritual renewal. The awakening in Samaria there was a function of inspired preaching of Philip, who spoke the Word of God. 

Satan has waged a titanic struggle against the word of God. At veses faking it. Negating it in other cases. Looking to hide it. A thousand ways the enemy has sought to make the world absent the influence of the precious Word of God.

A Revival designs the Word of God. It is more literature that publishes more brochures that are distributed more Bibles that sells and offers more scriptural preaching, more devotional cults and domestic, more disclosure of the Book Live.
We know that many thousands of sincere believers are praying to God in the world by enhancing the Revival. There are prayer groups everywhere, praying to the Father for the deeper life among the people of God.

CONCLUSION

4. Join the revival

Among this new sphere of activity of the Church of the Lord. Get healthy and positive results of the revival in his own life. Do not be a spectator. Participate. Integrate the group of women and men filled with the Spirit being the spark of spiritual revolution that will change the face of the world, on the eve of the triumphant life of Jesus.

 Truly, one of the most significant signs of the imminent return of Jesus Christ to Earth with respect to the wave of apostasy that will sweep the ecclesiastical circles around the world and will lead millions to deny the faith they have embraced, turning again to the old life distanced from God.
But we do not want to talk about this sign. We hope to report us to a larger signal, but important, of greater interest, we will refererir the Spiritual Revival, the spring rains that fall on the Church faithful, the final fulfillment of the prophecies of Joel, Isaiah and the book also Proverbs.
Revival is a supernatural intervention of God in the Church, a proactive action amid the routine activities of the children of God. When revival comes, it takes an impulse to evangelization, miracles arise, love is renewed, forgiveness is offered, communion is enhanced, the glory of God is felt.
When there is no revival, the routine involves programs of worship and a lethargic sleep hugging people. Leaving decisions, no power, cults become cold, the people are apathetic, there is nothing attractive. The significance of the revival is the fact that he involved the church in command of power of the Spirit and make it return to apostolic standards.
The absence of matter Revival constant crises. The presence of quenching revival intrigue, bursts in each new life as the presence of the Lord in the heart of each sheep. The purpose is to promote the revival of the Church to carry out the Great Commission promptly, often forgotten, in exchange for achievements less constant with the primary mission of the Bride of Christ.
"Revival, O Lord, thy work in the middle of the year, in the midst of the years make." Only then will we have taken the key that will meet the challenge of World Evangelization, and overcome internal crises.
